Accounting Assistant / QuickBooks Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Assistant / QuickBooks Specialist who can handle daily accounting tasks and maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accounting records using QuickBooks

• Record and update daily financial transactions and journal entries

• Prepare Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Statements

• Prepare and monitor Cash Flow Reports

• Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies

• Check and verify receipts, invoices, vouchers, and other supporting documents

• Prepare BIR Form 2307 (Certificate of Creditable Tax Withheld at Source)

• Assist in monitoring Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities

• Ensure accounting records are complete, accurate, and up to date

• Coordinate with management, suppliers, clients, and other departments regarding accounting concerns

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related course

• With experience using QuickBooks

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting

• Knowledge of bank reconciliation and preparation of financial statements

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Willing to learn and adapt to new accounting processes and systems

Preferred:

• Experience in bookkeeping or accounting

• Experience preparing financial reports and reconciliations

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
