What they need
- Accurately input financial data into accounting software and maintain up-to-date records of transactions.
- Assist in reconciling bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts; follow up on outstanding accounts and manage vendor relations.
- Prepare and assist in generating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies, assisting with audits as needed.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for easy retrieval and reference.
- Provide support to senior accounting staff and collaborate with other departments on financial matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proven experience in an accounting role or internship experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
