Accounting Staff

About the role

The Accounting Staff is integral to maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of the company's financial records. The role involves detailed recording of receivables and payables, reviewing supporting documents for reimbursements and claims, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies, while supporting the overall operations of the Finance Department.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the processing and recording of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.
• Perform precise data entry into the accounting system to ensure data integrity.
• Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for monthly tax filings and financial reports.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of invoices and supporting documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, standards, and company policies.
• Review expense reimbursements and claims submissions for completeness and accuracy before processing.
• Monitor and manage a high volume of transactions efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate updates to financial records.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper documentation.
• Perform ad hoc tasks and support the Finance Department's ongoing operational needs.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy, Accounting Technology, or a related Finance Course.
• 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred; fresh graduates with a strong attention to detail are welcome.
• Proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel).
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Strong organizational skills and integrity in managing accounting information.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues.
• Capable of managing voluminous transactions efficiently without compromising accuracy.
• Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
