Job Title: Accounting Staff

Reports To: Finance Director and Board of Directors

Location: Bangkal, Davao City

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records, general ledger accounts, and supporting documents.

Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and assist in monthly and year-end closing processes.

Prepare and monitor accounts receivable and follow up outstanding balances when necessary.

Process and maintain documentation for accounts payable, purchasing, and treasury functions.

Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance of financial records. Assist in payroll coordination with the Human Resources Department, ensuring accuracy of salary-related entries.

Support the preparation of annual budgets and financial projections. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Assist in internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies.

Ensure timely submission of financial reports and adherence to reporting deadlines.

Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.

Assist the Finance Director and Management in other accounting-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, or Accounting Technology.

Preferably with at least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.

Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.

Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
