ACCOUNTING STAFF

About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Staff member to join the team at BW Superbakeshop-Eljin in Tarlac City, Tarlac. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our retail and consumer products operation. As Accounting Staff, you will be responsible for managing financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the overall accounting operations of our bakeshop. This role is essential to ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the business's growth and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Recording and categorizing financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards and company policies
• Processing invoices, receipts, and payment documents with accuracy and attention to detail
• Reconciling bank statements and cash records on a regular basis
• Preparing financial reports and statements for management review
• Maintaining and organizing accounting documentation and records in both physical and digital formats
• Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Supporting the preparation of financial statements and year-end closing procedures
• Liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding financial matters
• Assisting with budgeting and financial forecasting activities
• Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal audit requirements

What we're looking for

• A qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in accounting roles
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail in handling financial data
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial procedures
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
• Reliability and integrity in handling sensitive financial information
• Experience in retail, consumer products, or hospitality accounting is advantageous
