Accounting Staff

About the role

RD8 Builders Corporation is looking for an Accounting Staff to join our Accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing vendor payments, recording disbursements, and assisting with tax compliance schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, update, and organize accounting records, files, and journals (Purchase and Sales Journals)
• Monitor and reconcile supplier payments, prepare monthly purchases summaries, and record disbursement and cash payment transactions in the accounting books
• Receive and file disbursement vouchers, official receipts, Certificates of Creditable Tax Withheld at Source (BIR Form 2307), and other tax-related documents for RD8 Builders Corporation and its affiliates
• Update VAT summary schedules for purchases and encode Sales and Purchases in the BIR Reconciliation of Listing for Enforcement System (RELIEF) to generate DAT files and reports
• Audit and reconcile the Revolving Cash Fund balances
• Participate in accounting-related process improvements and innovation initiatives
• Perform other accounting tasks and functions as assigned by management

About you

• Graduate of a 4-year business course (preferably BS Accountancy or BS Accounting Technology / Financial Management)

• Relevant experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, or general accounting is a strong advantage

• Proficient in MS Office/Excel and computer literate

• Knowledgeable in accounting software (preferably QuickBooks)

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex situations

• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
