Accounting Staff

About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Staff member to join SOURCE ASIA COMPANY LIMITED in Chon Buri. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of our organisation. As an Accounting Staff member, you will support the accounting department in executing day-to-day financial transactions, record-keeping, and reporting tasks. This position is essential to ensuring accurate financial data flows through our systems and contributes directly to the company's financial management and decision-making processes.

What you'll be doing

• Recording and processing financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and expense vouchers
• Maintaining and updating accounting records and ledgers in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
• Reconciling bank statements and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner
• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Processing payroll information and employee expense claims
• Verifying and coding invoices for payment and ensuring proper documentation
• Supporting the senior accounting team with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Filing and organising accounting documents and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Assisting with audit preparation and providing supporting documentation as required
• Performing general administrative duties to support the accounting department

What we're looking for

• A qualification in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related financial discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members
• Reliability and a professional approach to handling confidential financial information
• Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred but not essential for candidates with strong foundational knowledge
