About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Staff – Fixed Asset Management professional to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate fixed asset records, monitoring asset movements, ensuring compliance with accounting policies, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.

This position is ideal for accounting professionals with experience in fixed asset accounting and a strong understanding of accounting principles and asset management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the fixed asset register, ensuring accuracy and completeness of asset records.
• Record asset acquisitions, transfers, disposals, retirements, and depreciation calculations.
• Perform periodic fixed asset reconciliations between the asset register and the general ledger.
• Coordinate and participate in physical asset inventories and verification activities.
• Monitor capital expenditures and ensure proper capitalization of assets in accordance with company policies.
• Prepare schedules and reports related to fixed assets for management, auditors, and regulatory requirements.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting close processes.
• Assist with audit requests and provide supporting documentation related to fixed assets.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year of experience in Fixed Asset Management or Fixed Asset Accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and fixed asset accounting processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred:

• Experience with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems.
• Experience in audit support and fixed asset inventory management.
• Knowledge of depreciation methods and asset capitalization policies.
