Accounting Staff - Retail

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management
• 1 year of relevant accounting experience
• Working knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Familiarity with VAT, EWT, withholding tax, and related computations
• Knowledge of bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and basic accounting principles
• Experience preparing or checking invoices, billings, payment records, and tax documents
• Able to review transactions, identify discrepancies, and ensure accuracy of accounting records
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Willing to work onsite in Mandaluyong City

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and monitor Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
• Review supplier invoices, customer billings, payments, and supporting documents
• Assist in computing and preparing VAT, EWT, and withholding tax schedules
• Maintain accounting records and perform account reconciliation
• Monitor outstanding payables, receivables, and payment balances
• Assist with bookkeeping and preparation of accounting reports
• Check transactions and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain organized financial records and tax-related documentation
• Coordinate with suppliers and clients regarding billing, payments, and account discrepancies
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned
