Accounting Supervisor

Lead the accounting team in ensuring accurate financial records, timely reconciliations, and reliable reporting while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Team Supervision

• Supervise and support 2 to 3 Accounting Associates in their daily accounting and reconciliation tasks.
• Review audit logs, reconciliations, financial reports, and other work outputs for accuracy and completeness.
• Review and approve supplier payment requests in accordance with company policies.
• Provide coaching, training, and regular performance feedback to improve team productivity and accuracy.

Financial Audit & Reconciliation

• Oversee the daily audit and reconciliation of financial transactions across company systems and payment channels.
• Reconcile sales, collections, and payment records, and investigate discrepancies promptly.
• Monitor wallet transactions, payment gateway settlements, refunds, and other financial activities to ensure accurate recording.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly sales and financial reports.
• Consolidate financial data across multiple business lines, including flights, hotels, tours, and other travel services.
• Analyze financial trends, identify variances, and provide recommendations to management.

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and government regulations, including BIR, SEC, and other applicable agencies.
• Maintain complete and organized financial records to support internal and external audits.

Process Improvement

• Recommend and implement improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and Technology teams to improve reporting accuracy and reconciliation efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reconciliation, audit procedures, and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and advanced formulas.
• Experience using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential financial information.
