What they need
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy (BSA) required; CPA is preferred but not required.
- At least 3–5 years of progressive experience in General Accounting, AP, Tax, and Audit, preferably with supervisory experience.
- Supervise and review tax-related schedules and reports, coordinate with the Tax Specialist to ensure timely compliance with tax filing requirements, and review supporting documents and tax reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.
- Review and improve accounting processes, procedures, and controls to identify risks and control gaps while enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
- Supervise and provide direction to accounting personnel, assign workloads, monitor deadlines and performance, provide coaching and guidance, and ensure proper segregation of duties within the accounting team.
- Solid experience in AP, General Accounting, Tax Compliance, and Audit, with strong knowledge of accounting processes and controls.
- Supervise the AP function, ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely payments, proper documentation, and compliance with approval procedures.
- Perform other ad hoc duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by Management from time to time.
