Accounting Supervisor

About the role

We are a shipyard company based in Batam, Batu Aji, seeking an experienced Accounting professional to manage financial operations and ensure accuracy of all accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Check and verify the completeness and accuracy of all financial documents
• Analyze each financial transaction
• Record journal entries into the accounting system
• Prepare financial reports in accordance with job responsibilities and company standards
• Maintain proper and systematic document filing
• Conduct periodic stock and asset inventory checks
• Provide accounting data according to tax needs and accompany internal and external audits until findings are followed up
• Perform other accounting duties outside the job description when required

About you

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Management
• At least 3 years of experience in the accounting field
• Understand the accounting cycle as a whole, from recording transactions to preparing financial reports
• Experienced in tax regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Able to communicate in English and/or Mandarin
• Detail-oriented, disciplined, responsible, and well-organized
• Able to work independently as well as in a team
• Willing to work overtime when required
• Physically and mentally healthy
• Willing to work in Batu Aji
