Accounting Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join RAMCEL CORPORATION in Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing our financial accounting and reporting operations. As Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of financial records whilst managing and developing a team of accounting professionals. This role is integral to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity and compliance within our organization.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions
• Review, verify and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank reconciliations and subsidiary ledgers
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
• Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring proper documentation and timely processing
• Manage the fixed asset register and ensure proper recording of capital acquisitions and disposals
• Conduct regular audits of accounting records to identify and rectify errors or discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures, accounting policies and relevant regulatory requirements
• Train, mentor and develop accounting staff members, providing guidance on accounting procedures and best practices
• Prepare reports and analyses for management relating to financial performance and accounting matters
• Liaise with external auditors during audit engagements and address audit findings
• Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation and records

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy;
• At least 3-5 years in Accounting, Finance, or related functions;
• At least 1-2 years of supervisory or team lead experience is preferred;
• Experience in handling General Ledger, Accounts Payable,
• Accounts Receivable, Inventory Accounting, Tax Compliance, and Financial Reporting;
• Knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), BIR regulations, and other government compliance requirements;
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure;
• Ability to work collaboratively with Operations, Procurement, Treasury, Billing & Collection, HR, and other departments.
