Accounting Supervisor

About the role

As an Accounting Supervisor at TruLaboratories Corporation, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity and reporting accuracy of our organization. This full-time position, based in Cubao, Quezon City, Metro Manila, is essential in supporting our company's overall financial management and strategic decision-making.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
• Oversee and audit inventory management processes, including inventory recording, reconciliation, movement monitoring, and accuracy of inventory reports.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including the preparation of relevant reports
• Provide support and guidance to the accounting team, ensuring efficient workflow and proper internal controls
• Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and recommendations
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filing and compliance with relevant regulations
• Participate in the implementation of new accounting systems and processes

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the accounting/finance function
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, standards, and best practices
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with Sage Peachtree accounting software is an advantage
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity
