Primary Responsibilities:

Supervises daily accounting operations for the automotive dealership—covering vehicle sales, parts and service, AR, AP, general ledger, and financial reporting—while ensuring regulatory compliance, strong internal controls, and accuracy.

Major Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Sales & Accounts Receivable: Oversee transaction processing, unit releases, gross profit analyses, customer/financing reconciliations, AR aging, and timely collections.

• Accounts Payable & Expense Management: Validate supplier invoices, ensure authorized payment processing, manage payable schedules, and reconcile vendor and manufacturer accounts.

• General Accounting & Financial Reporting: Direct month-end and year-end closes, review journal entries, calculate accruals/depreciation, summarize commissions, and prepare financial schedules for management.

• Inventory & Dealership Operations Accounting: Monitor vehicle/parts inventory movements, reconcile service revenue and claims, and manage manufacturer incentives, rebates, and warranties.

• Supervision & Internal Controls: Guide accounting staff, enforce compliance with tax/accounting standards, implement controls over cash and assets, manage audit requirements, and address operational discrepancies across departments.

  Performs other task/duties assigned by the Immediate Head

Qualifications:

• A graduate of Accounting / Financial Accounting and/or other programs related.

• 3 to 5 years of work experience in the same field, preferably in automotive or dealership industries.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and financial reporting.

• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, reconciliations, and month-end closing.

• Knowledge of VAT, tax compliance, and statutory accounting requirements.Proficient in MS Office and HR record systems.

• Self-motivated and a sense of urgency to take action.
