Accounting Supervisor

About the role

The Accounting Supervisor will oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and support the Finance and Accounting team in maintaining timely and compliant financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily accounting activities and transactions
• Review and ensure accuracy of accounting entries, schedules, and supporting documents
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare and review financial reports and accounting schedules
• Ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts
• Monitor tax-related requirements and coordinate with the appropriate teams to ensure compliance
• Establish and maintain proper accounting controls and procedures
• Supervise, guide, and evaluate accounting team members
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding accounting and financial concerns

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting principles and practices
• Knowledge of BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG regulations is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• CPA certification is an advantage but not required
