Accounting Supervisor

About the role

Accounting Supervisor role responsible for overseeing accounting operations and supervising accounting staff in an automotive dealership or related automotive business environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and monitor accounting staff
• Review and analyze financial records, reports, and account balances
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records and supporting documents
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliation
• Handle month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Prepare financial reporting
• Manage automotive dealership accounting processes, including vehicle sales, parts, service, and related transactions
• Ensure BIR compliance, tax-related documentation, and statutory accounting requirements
• Work independently, meet deadlines, and handle confidential financial information

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with supervisory experience
• Experience in automotive dealerships, automotive service centers, or related automotive businesses
• Knowledgeable in general accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting
• Familiar with automotive dealership accounting processes, including vehicle sales, parts, service, and related transactions
• Knowledgeable in month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Experience with BIR compliance, tax-related documentation, and statutory accounting requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
