Accounting Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to oversee the company's external financial reporting, tax compliance, statutory filings, and audit coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review the accuracy of Financial Statements (Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Comprehensive Income, Statement of Changes in Equity, and Statement of Cash Flows)
• Supervise the preparation and timely submission of statutory and regulatory reports
• Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns, including VAT, EWT, FWT, Income Tax, and other applicable taxes
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies during audits, assessments, and inspections
• Monitor statutory deadlines and ensure all regulatory submissions are completed on time
• Assist in resolving tax-related issues, notices, and compliance matters

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
• At least 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory capacity
• Demonstrated experience in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing complete Financial Statements in accordance with PFRS
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
