Accounting Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for someone who reviews, verifies, identifies discrepancies, and takes ownership of the accuracy and timeliness of the accounting function.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee bookkeeping, month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Review accounting entries and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness
• Oversee supplier payments, liquidations, reimbursements, and fund requirements
• Review payroll and ensure accurate and timely processing
• Ensure timely BIR filings and government remittances
• Review bank and inventory reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Monitor permits, licenses, and regulatory deadlines
• Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of financial and compliance documents
• Supervise accounting staff and review their work before finalization
• Strengthen accounting processes and internal controls

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
• Accounting supervisory experience required
• Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft-Excel
• Hands-on experience in BIR compliance and government remittances
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, financial reporting, AP, payroll, and bank reconciliation
• Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
• Able to manage multiple deadlines and follow through on unresolved matters
• High level of integrity, accountability, confidentiality, and professionalism
• Retail, food service, franchising, or multi-branch experience is an advantage
