About the role

We are a growing company with a team of approximately 20–25 employees looking for an experienced and hands-on CPA to lead and organize our accounting operations. We are specifically looking for someone who can set up and improve our accounting system and processes, while also handling actual day-to-day accounting work.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the accounting function
• Set up and improve the company's accounting system, procedures, and workflow
• Establish proper internal controls and approval procedures
• Handle and review AR, AP, billing, collections, payments, and expenses
• Perform and review bank reconciliations
• Review accounting entries, ledgers, and supporting documents
• Prepare and review financial and management reports
• Oversee month-end and year-end accounting procedures
• Ensure proper BIR and tax compliance
• Organize accounting records and documentation

About you

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Required
• BS Accountancy graduate
• At least 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience preferred
• Experience in setting up or improving an accounting system is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of AR, AP, bank reconciliation, general accounting, financial reporting, and taxation
• Knowledgeable in BIR requirements and Philippine taxation
• Good leadership and organizational skills
• Must be willing to be hands-on and personally involved in accounting work
