Accounting Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to lead our accounting team and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all financial records. Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate events, programs, and organizational activities.
• Prepare and maintain work schedules for staff.
• Train workers in their assigned duties, procedures, and organizational policies.
• Prepare and submit operational and administrative reports.
• Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of equipment.
• Review financial transactions to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
• Coordinate, assign, and review the work of staff.
• Requisition or order required materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Coordinate activities and workflow with other work units and departments.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of corporate finance principles and accounting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software including Sage, Xero, and other relevant tools
• Expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation procedures
• Experience with auditing processes and financial services operations
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for account analysis and reporting
• Ability to manage payroll functions accurately and efficiently
• Familiarity with budgeting processes and bookkeeping best practices
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present financial insights clearly

Pay: $44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 per week
