Accounting Supervisor

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in restaurant, food service, or hospitality operations.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.

• Experienced in preparing and analyzing Profit and Loss (P&L) reports.

• Knowledgeable in restaurant food cost, labor cost, inventory, and expense monitoring.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems/software.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial records.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Willing to work closely with Restaurant General Managers and Operations.

• Experience with BIR and statutory accounting requirements is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage accounting activities related to all restaurant operations.

• Prepare and review monthly and cut-off P&L reports for each restaurant.

• Monitor and analyze sales, food cost, labor cost, expenses, and other operating costs.

• Review restaurant financial reports and identify significant variances or discrepancies.

• Coordinate with RGMs regarding P&L results, financial concerns, and required supporting documents.

• Consolidate financial reports from all restaurant operations for management review.

• Monitor daily sales, cash collections, deposits, and other restaurant-related financial transactions.

• Review inventory reports, food costs, wastage, and variances in coordination with Operations and Purchasing.

• Ensure proper recording and documentation of restaurant expenses and transactions.

• Maintain accurate and updated accounting records and supporting documents.

• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.

• Coordinate with the Head Office regarding BIR-related requirements and other statutory accounting matters.
