As an Accounting Supervisor, you are responsible for overseeing the accounting team's daily work. Ensure that all financial and accounting operations run smoothly. Oversee and review the work of accountants to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Will be assigned to a team of 5-10 accounting associates or more.
• Responsible for the overall result expectations of the assigned team.
• Oversees the day-to-day accounting/bookkeeping operations of the assigned client/team.
• Ensures compliance with adopted and agreed standards of the management and team.
• Ensures overall client quality results and/or satisfaction of the assigned clients and/or team.
• Ensures introduction of improvements to the assigned task goals and activities.
• Provides accounting, bookkeeping, and technical assistance to client issues and/or requirements.
• Performs scoping and onboarding activities as assigned by management.
• Performs special projects not limited to accounting system migration, reconstruction of financial statements, and catch-up or clean-up of financial records, among others.
• Performs assessments and formulates strategies that will improve the team's results.
• Provides strong leadership skills to the team.
• Performs standard report and admin requirements as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) but not required

• With 5 to 7 yearsof total working experience in the Accounting field

• At least 3 years of experience in aSupervisory roleor similar capacity

• Experience in supervising at least 5-10 members

• Experience working in an accounting firm is a huge advantage

• Experience with catering services or assisting US or any offshore clients is an advantage

• Has significant knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting operations

• Exposure to accounting platforms such as QBO, QBD, Xero, and NetSuite software

• Good communication skills, both verbal & written

• Has good supervisory experience in handling projects and resources

• Has extensive leadership skills and/or ability to handle teams and/or people.

• Can recommend continuous improvements to existing processes.

• Has great interpersonal skills, proactive, detail-oriented, resourceful & a self-starter

• Has great conflict resolution, problem-solving, critical thinking, & decision-making skills
