Accounting Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Accounting Head to oversee and manage the hospital's accounting and financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining proper accounting records, and supervising the accounting team.

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
• Must have at least five (5) years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to handle confidential financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Accounting Department.
• Supervise and guide accounting staff.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records and reports.
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and other financial reports.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll-related transactions, and other financial activities.
• Coordinate with external auditors, government agencies, and other concerned parties when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, accounting standards, and applicable government regulations.
• Develop and implement effective accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
