Accounting Supervisor

Jefferson Wells is partnering with a prestigious multinational group to recruit an Accounting Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence, developing team capabilities, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality financial information.Lead, coach, and develop a team of 3 Accounting Specialists

• Supervise daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Maintain a hands-on approach by actively supporting accounting activities and operational processes when required
• Ensure the accurate and timely recording of general ledger transactions.
• Review account reconciliations and investigate/resolution of discrepancies.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets accounting processes
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial regulations, and corporate guidelines.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide all required supporting documentation during audit activities
• Foster a collaborative and performance-oriented environment through coaching, mentoring, and professional development initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
• Minimum 8 years of accounting experience, ideally gained within an international or multinational environment
• Previous experience managing or supervising accounting teams
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and closing processes
• Experience working with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information:

Compensation: €50.000 - Gross Annual Salary (RAL)

Performance Bonus: 10%
