Accounting Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY:

Oversees general accounting operations, financial reporting, and analysis. The GA supervisor will also supervise the General Accounting Section.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Review and analyze transactions recorded in the General Ledger to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Assist in gathering and analyzing data for budget preparation and financial planning.
• Manage the closing of Oracle modules and posting of entries in the Oracle system.
• Prepare monthly accounting schedules as support for financial reporting.
• Submit required documents for internal and external audits of books and work processes.
• Supervise and guide the team in preparing accruals, asset management, and other accounting reports for the company and its affiliates.
• Delegate tasks effectively and evaluate the performance of subordinates to ensure high-quality output.
• Maintain and update books of accounts to ensure accurate financial records.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Extensive experience in general accounting practices and procedures
• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
• Proficiency in Oracle or similar ERP systems is a plus
