Accounting Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions across multiple business entities.
• Oversee invoice processing, customer billing, cash application, collections activity, and payment execution.
• Manage and mentor accounting support staff, including remote team members and outsourced resources.
• Review transaction coding, approvals, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Partner with operations and project teams to ensure expenses and customer billings are recorded correctly.
• Maintain vendor and customer master records, including onboarding, tax documentation, and payment information updates.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and drive collection efforts to improve cash flow and reduce aging balances.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, payment issues, and account reconciliations.
• Strengthen internal controls related to disbursements, approvals, banking changes, and fraud prevention.
• Support month-end close activities by preparing accruals, reconciliations, and transactional reporting.
• Develop KPI reporting around payables, receivables, collections effectiveness, and process efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows through automation, technology enhancements, and process standardization.
• Assist with external audits, lender requests, and other financial reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with vendor documentation requirements, tax reporting obligations, and contractual payment procedures.
• Collaborate closely with accounting leadership to improve scalability and support the company's continued growth.
