Accounting Supervisor

As part of a service assignment for our project , the Senior Accounting Supervisor acts as the operational head accountant, directly involved in the production, review, and security of accounts within the deadlines defined by the client. 

He/she is a key player in the closing process , ensuring the quality of accounting data, while also providing daily supervision of work and strict application of Group rules.

He also has a client support role on various topics related to accounting management and taxation.

3. Main Missions

Production and accounting review

• Perform all accounting operations (customers, suppliers, fixed assets)
• Posting and validating complex accounting entries (cut-off, provisions, estimates)
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS, local standards, Group procedures)
• To verify the quality and consistency of accounting data
• to be the primary point of contact on complex accounting matters

Cl tures et reporting

• to be fully operational for monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Produce financial reports for the Group (tax estimates, order balance estimates)
• Analyze the discrepancies, raise alerts, and propose corrective actions.

Taxation and legal obligations

• Contribute to tax and social security declarations (CVAE, IS, etc.)
• Responding to requests and inquiries from auditors
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory deadlines

• Identify operational pain points in accounting processes
• Contribute to the optimization of accounting and financial procedures (harmonization of practices)
• Participate in transformation projects (tools, ERP, digitalization)
• Write or update accounting procedures
• Being proactive in a demanding and evolving environment

Desired Candidate Profile

6. Search profile

• Higher education in accounting/finance (DCG, DSCG, Master CCA, business school)
• Significant accounting experience (minimum 5-8 years) with proven experience in supervision, as sole accountant or head of accounting appreciated.
• Experience in an accounting firm or in a group environment is a plus
