Accounting Supervisor

Duties

• Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely processing, accuracy, and proper documentation.
• Review all online bank accounts regularly to monitor credits, debits, and account activity.
• Verify deposits and ensure all deposits are accurately recorded and properly applied.
• Maintain the firm's operating account, ensuring transactions are current and accurately recorded.
• Review cash receipts for proper General Ledger (GL) account coding and accuracy.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department, ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently, and within established deadlines.
• Provide guidance, support, and oversight to accounting staff and help ensure consistent department procedures and internal controls.

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
