Accounting Supervisor

About the role

Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements. Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice. Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements
• Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice
• Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs
• Work with Sales, Key Accounts, and external customers regarding billing and payment concerns

About you

• Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or any related business course
• At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR), Trade Funds, Claims Management, General Accounting, Bank Reconciliation, Financial Reporting, or Commercial Finance
• Experience in high-volume transaction processing and account reconciliations
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS) and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar accounting software
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in FMCG, Distribution, Retail, Manufacturing, or E-commerce is highly preferred
• Knowledgeable in trade claims, customer deductions, promotional support, rebates, or sales support reconciliation is an advantage
