Accounting Supervisor - Makati

Good Eats Specialists Inc. (formerly known as Specialty Food Retailers, Inc.), a subsidiary of Rustan Group of Companies, is currently looking for an Accounting Supervisor. Must be willing to be assigned at Makati City.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accountancy/ Banking or any equivalent course.
• With relevant experience in Accounting Field

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise the daily operations of the Accounts Payable team, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, payment requests, and other payables transactions.
• Review and validate supplier invoices, purchase orders, receiving documents, and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy, and proper authorization.
• Monitor accounts payable aging, payment schedules, and outstanding obligations to ensure timely settlement of supplier accounts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards and internal control procedures.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including accounts payable reconciliations, and preparation of supporting reports.
• Monitor team performance, delegate tasks, and provide guidance and coaching to ensure productivity and adherence to established deadlines.
• Prepare and present accounts payable reports, aging summaries, and other financial information required by management.
• Perform other accounting-related duties as may be assigned.
