Job Summary

The Accounting Supervisor, Payables is responsible for overseeing the company's accounts payable operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and accounting records. The role supervises the payables team, monitors financial transactions, and ensures compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

• With relevant experience in accounts payable or general accounting, preferably in a supervisory or senior-level role

• Knowledgeable in accounts payable processes, invoice verification, reconciliation, and financial reporting

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems

• Strong analytical, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, validation, recording, and payment preparation

• Review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of invoices, supporting documents, and payables transactions

• Monitor accounts payable balances, vendor accounts, aging schedules, and payment deadlines

• Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Operations, and other departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure proper documentation

• Prepare and review payables reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for management and audit requirements
