Role and Responsibilities
As an accounting support specialist at Ronco Construction, you’re a key player to keeping our accounting department running smoothly. You support everything from payables to compliance, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and timely communication. Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to as other duties can be assigned:

• Code and enter AP invoices, pay and record time-sensitive invoices, and assist with weekly system audits.
• Oversee the company’s expense management process by reviewing and approving employee expense reports for accuracy. Provide software and process support as needed.
• Handle subcontractor record compliance by collecting W-9’s, contractor registrations, and distribute tax exempt forms, ensuring all documentation is current and compliant.
• Provide support for insurance reviewer platform, communicating needs to non-compliant or nonresponsive subcontractors.
• Assist with entering subcontracts and change orders in accounting software.
• Assist with month-end processes, such as subcontractor billing entry, gathering documentation for owner billings, and reporting.
• Handle subcontractor lien waivers, including collecting, tracking, and maintaining required documentation.
• Provide backup support for admin and accounting roles to cover planned and unplanned time off.
• Support the accounting team with additional projects or responsibilities as needed.

Requirements
You're ready to contribute to the work and culture of a leading and growing construction company, in that:

• You have at least two (2) years of accounting support experience. A degree in accounting or similarrelated field is preferred.
• Construction industry experience is strongly preferred.
• You’re proficient with a computer and applicable accounting software programs and have knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. Experience with accounting software like ViewPoint Spectrum and construction software like Procore is a plus.
• You have strong written and verbal communication skills and a customer service mindset to handle tasks professionally and confidentially.
• You’re a people person and can build relationships with a variety of people including coworkers, clients, subcontractors, field staff and others.
• You’re self-motivated and proactive, accomplishing tasks with minimal supervision.
• You have a strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to meet and manage deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
