Accounting Team Lead - Local Entity

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and month-end/year-end closing
• Lead, coach, and manage the local accounting team
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reports
• Ensure compliance with Philippine accounting and statutory requirements, including BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG
• Coordinate with local employees and global/shared services finance teams on accounting matters
• Support internal/external audits and ensure proper documentation
• Drive process improvements and maintain effective internal controls

About you

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience with 2+ years in a supervisory/team lead capacity
• Experience handling Philippine/local entity accounting in a shared services, BPO, or multinational environment
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting and statutory requirements
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar
• Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
