Accounting Tutor

Overview

Seeking a mature, experinece accounting tutor with references, with preferred experience working one-on-one with older students to help them understand their accounting curriculum and achieve academic success.

Duties

• Assess students’ current knowledge levels to adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Provide targeted tutoring in specific area.
• Support students’ academic growth by teaching effective study skills, time management techniques, and critical thinking strategies.
• Communicate regularly with students to discuss progress, challenges, and next steps for academic achievement.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in tutoring or teaching.
• Strong knowledge of subject.
• Familiarity with learning technology platforms and tools used for online instruction, if virutal tutoring is requested.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage students.
• Experience working with adult learners.
• Background working with students is a plus.
