Accounting/AP/HR

Full Time position. 32 hours a week, Monday – Thursday. No working from home.

Small construction – related business near Miamitown, Ohio.

Ability to prepare a monthly Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Statement

Knowledge of depreciation for fixed assets

Withholding tax submittals (941, SUTA, FUTA, State, etc.)

Other tax submittals (CAT, use tax)

Prepare 1099s and W2s

Balancing accounts, General Ledger entries, Bank Reconciliations, Job Costing

HR duties including health insurance, 401k, HSA, new employee forms and tests, workers’ comp, etc.

Accounts Payable – enter invoices, get approval, pay

Assist with Payroll

Qualifications:

Must possess at least an Associates Degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience)

Experience in creating a Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Statement

Experience in balancing accounts

Prior experience in a construction - related business a plus

Must live in the TriState area (OH, KY, IN)

Skilled in Word, Outlook and Excel (able to make formulas in Excel)

Excellent English written and verbal grammar skills

Experience in ComputerEase a plus

Want to work in a small office where there is no corporate ladder to climb

Ability to pass random drug tests
