Accounting/BIR Compliance Associate

Responsible for preparing BIR tax compliance, internal auditing, verification of accounting transactions, and maintenance of financial records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

BIR Compliance and Tax Documentation

• Prepare and file BIR tax returns and other required tax documents.
• Monitor deadlines for tax payments, filings, and compliance requirements.Assist in reconciling tax records with accounting books and financial reports.
• Maintain organized records of BIR filings, payment confirmations, and related documents.

Internal Auditing and Verification

• Verify the accuracy and completeness of invoices, collection receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial records.
• Prepare audit findings and report discrepancies or irregularities to the immediate supervisor

Accounting and Record Management

• Assist in reconciling accounting records and supporting schedules.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting and audit records.
• Assist in preparing reports and schedules required by the Accounting Department.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS in Accounting Technology, BS Accountancy, Management Accounting, or a related course.
• Must have knowledge of BIR tax compliance, tax filing requirements, and internal auditing procedures.
• Proficient in Google Sheet and other office applications.
