Graduate Trainee Accountant - Kildare

Excellent opportunity for a finance graduate to join a growing Irish business in a newly created role due to expansion.

This role will suit recent graduates who are keen to develop their career in finance and would be interested in pursuing their accountancy exams (exam and study support provided).

In this role you will work as part of a small finance team and have the opportunity to gain broad experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist with month end close activities
• Preparation of accounting journals
• Assist with AP duties to include invoice processing and payments
• Maintain financial records
• Preparation of reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of VAT returns
• Assist with the external audit process

Key requirements :

• Degree in business, finance, accounting or related field required
• Some experience gained in a finance role is highly desirable, but not required
• A self-starter who is keen to embark on their accounting career
