Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting/Finance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing mathematical calculations, skilled in Microsoft Excel, and have a strong willingness to learn accounting software such as QuickBooks or Oracle. The role requires punctuality, attention to detail, and a solid foundation in business principles. A degree in Business or a related field is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:

●Perform basic accounting and financial calculations with a high degree of accuracy.

●Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and creating financial documents(pivot tables, formulas, charts).

●Learn and effectively use accounting software like QuickBooks or Oracle to supportfinancial operations.

●Maintain financial records and assist with bookkeeping tasks.

●Support the finance department with day-to-day operations, including invoicing, accountspayable, and accounts receivable.

●Ensure timely and accurate completion of all financial tasks, meeting deadlines.

●Handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.

●Participate in audits and prepare reports as required.

Qualifications:

●Strong proficiency in mathematics and basic accounting principles.

●Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).

●Familiarity with or the ability to quickly learn accounting software like QuickBooks orOracle.

●Demonstrated punctuality and ability to meet deadlines.

●A degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.

●Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

●Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
