Accounts Administrator

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join us. In this vital role, you will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial record-keeping usings sage 50 & bespoke databases

Duties

• Proficiency in accounting software to include Sage and excel
• Completing Bank Reconciliations
• Processing UK & international payments to ensure suppliers are paid in a timely manner and issuing remittances as applicable
• Credit control via email / telephone
• Processing & exporting purchase invoices using a web-based system
• Importing sales invoices and issuing statements to customers
• Checking and maintaining sales and purchase ledgers
• Generating a small number of invoices to our parent company / third party companies using an external application
• General upkeep of accounts admin processes within the office environment using Excel, Outlook, Sage & Share Point
• Ensure 3rd party invoice system and Sage are up to date with Projects / Sailings for Zahara (purchase invoices)
• Dealing with suppliers & customers queries over the telephone and / or email

Pay: Up to £16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
