Public Safety Mutual Benefit Fund, Inc. (PSMBFI) is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team as an Accounts Analyst!

💼 WHAT YOU’LL DO

As an Accounts Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining accurate member account records and assisting in the proper processing of account-related transactions and adjustments.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Receive and process applications for overpayment and order of payment
• Prepare Statements of Account (SOA) for re-loan applications
• Verify, analyze, and compute account balances, including adjustments and corrections
• Maintain and update the loan subsidiary ledger
• Prepare journal entries for offsetting of equity value, adjustments, and corrections of subsidiary ledger entries
• Prepare various reports related to offsetting and overpayment
• Prepare certifications of account balances for death claims
• Coordinate closely with the Accounting Department regarding members’ subsidiary ledger concerns
• Attend to and respond to members’ account-related queries
• Perform functions provided under the updated and approved PSMBFI Operations Manual
• Perform other related functions as may be assigned by the immediate superior

🎯 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or any related business course
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in account monitoring, financial transactions, records processing, or related functions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills
• Detail-oriented with good coordination skills
• Able to handle confidential information with discretion
• Good written and verbal communication skills
