Accounts & Admin Assistant

About the role

Accounts & Admin Assistant role at Maxwell M&E (M) Sdn Bhd, based in Cheras. You will support accounting and administrative operations, handling invoicing, payment records, data entry, and general office administration.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare invoices, quotations, purchase orders and delivery orders
• Update payment records and basic accounting data
• Perform data entry using SQL Account
• Record expenses, receipts and supplier invoices
• Maintain stock records
• Organize and file documents neatly
• Prepare accounting documents for checking and audit by others
• Answer phone calls and assist with customer follow-up when required
• Handle general office paperwork and administration

About you

• Minimum SPM qualification
• Malaysian citizen
• Able to communicate in Malay, English and Chinese
• Able to use Microsoft Excel and Word
• Able to travel to and work at Cheras office
• Careful and accurate when handling documents
• Responsible and able to organize paperwork properly
• Willing to learn and follow company procedures
• Able to communicate with customers and suppliers when required
• Previous admin or accounting experience (nice-to-have)
