Orchard Gulf supplies MDF, plywood and sawn timber to traders, joinery workshops and contractors across the UAE. We are a growing business looking for one reliable person to manage our books, customer follow ups and office admin.

Responsibilities

Bookkeeping

• Record all sales invoices, purchase bills, expenses, receipts and payments in Zoho Books
• Maintain accurate stock and item records in line with the warehouse
• Complete monthly bank, customer and supplier reconciliations
• Keep all supporting documents organised and up to date

Accounting

• Prepare monthly reports covering sales, receivables, payables, cash position and stock value
• Monitor customer balances and credit limits
• Prepare data for quarterly UAE VAT returns and coordinate with our auditor or tax agent
• Highlight overdue accounts, unusual costs or margin issues to management

Customer communication and collections

• Email customers their delivery schedules and dispatch confirmations
• Send statements of account and payment reminders
• Follow up on cheque collections and post dated cheques, maintain the cheque register and ensure timely deposits
• Coordinate delivery plans with the warehouse and drivers

Administration

• Handle general office admin, filing and correspondence
• Support trade licence renewals, visa paperwork and supplier documentation

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
