Cooper Parry Finance Recruitment are working with a growing third sector organisation in Aberdeen City Centre to recruit an Accounts & Data Assistant for a newly created position.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers but is looking for a role with greater variety, responsibility and visibility across an organisation.

Rather than being purely transactional, this position offers the chance to work closely with both the finance function and the wider leadership team, including regular interaction with senior stakeholders. You'll be involved in financial processing, reporting, data management and supporting organisational decision-making through accurate and meaningful information.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records
• Supporting month-end and reporting activities
• Performing reconciliations and assisting with financial administration
• Managing and maintaining organisational databases and records
• Producing reports and analysing data to support decision making
• Ensuring information is accurate, compliant and up to date
• Working closely with colleagues across different departments
• Supporting process improvements and identifying efficiencies

About You

• Previous experience within an accounts, finance or data-focused role
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
• Confident user of Excel and Microsoft Office
• Experience working with databases, CRM systems or financial systems would be advantageous
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the organisation
• Proactive, adaptable and keen to learn
