Accounts & HR Executive

About the role

A hands-on role offering exposure to both finance and human resource functions, making it an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy variety and are looking to broaden their professional experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), journal entries, and bank reconciliations
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
• Process petty cash, staff claims, supplier payments, and receipts
• Prepare and submit GST returns in a timely manner
• Maintain schedules for prepayments, accruals, and fixed asset depreciation
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretarial service providers
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on billing discrepancies and payment collections
• Support recruitment activities, including interview coordination, onboarding, and employee orientation
• Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records
• Assist in implementing HR policies and ensuring compliance with company procedures

About you

• Diploma in Accountancy, ACCA, LCCI, or equivalent qualifications
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or HR administration
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• A proactive team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Language skill

• Mandarin proficiency is required as the role involves regular communication with Mandarin-speaking employees, including workplace instructions, trainings, HR matters and day-to-day coordination.
• Candidates will be assessed based on their relevant skills, qualifications, experience and ability to perform the role.
