Accounts Assistant (5 DAYS) [WCAN]

Handle daily accounts payable transactions, including supplier invoices, payment vouchers and expense claims.

Check invoices and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness before processing.

Update and maintain accounts payable data and financial records.

Assist in preparing payment runs and processing payments through bank transfers, GIRO and other approved channels.

Perform supplier statement reconciliations and investigate payment discrepancies.

Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to follow up on outstanding invoices and payment enquiries.

Organise and maintain financial documents for easy retrieval and reference.

Support month-end closing, account reconciliations and audit preparation.

Follow company finance policies, internal controls and accounting procedures.

Carry out other assigned finance and administrative tasks when required.
