Accounts Assistant

Duties

• Reconcile transactions in Xero
• Assist in processing invoices, expenses, and payment runs accurately and promptly
• Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts
• Support month-end closing activities by preparing relevant reports and documentation
• Maintain organised records of financial transactions and supporting documents for audit readiness

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Xero is highly desirable
• Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Familiarity with accounts payable processes and financial services industry standards
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
• Basic understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
• A degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory

Pay: £14.00 per hour
