Accounts Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Assistant to support our day-to-day accounting and administrative operations within the luxury jewellery and e-commerce business.

The successful candidate will assist with financial record-keeping, transaction processing, invoice management and reconciliation, while working closely with the operations and e-commerce teams. This role is suitable for someone who is interested in gaining experience in the luxury jewellery and digital commerce industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting and finance-related tasks.
• Record and maintain sales, purchase and payment transactions accurately.
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts and payment documents.
• Perform basic accounts payable and accounts receivable duties.
• Assist with bank, sales and payment reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Assist in tracking online sales transactions and e-commerce payments.
• Verify transaction details and identify discrepancies for follow-up.
• Support month-end closing and preparation of basic financial reports.
• Assist with inventory and sales records related to jewellery products.
• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers and relevant business partners when required.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance and operations team.
• Handle confidential financial information with professionalism.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Previous experience in accounting, finance or administrative support is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and other accounting or office software.
• Good numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Organised, responsible and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as within a team.
• Candidates with e-commerce, retail or jewellery industry experience will have an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply.
