Accounts Assistant

About the role

This role involves managing accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, recording financial transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Record payments received from customers and monitor daily cash flow
• Record suppliers' invoices and prepare payment vouchers and GIRO transactions
• Record day-to-day financial transactions and daily bank transactions promptly
• Perform financial operations such as petty cash management
• Process accounts receivable and payable in a timely manner
• Respond to queries from clients on A/P or A/R related issues
• Maintain accurate records for all transactions
• Ensure documents (hard and soft copy) are filed promptly and accurately
• Assist in ad-hoc assignments when required

About you

• Knowledge of basic accounting and GST Principles
• 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience
• Good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures
• A keen eye for detail
• Responsible, meticulous, willing to learn and good attitude
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently
