Accounts Assistant

About the role

As the Full Time Accounts Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in our team, ensuring the smooth operation of accounting tasks. Reporting directly to the Administration Manager, you'll engage in various accounting processes, including managing accounts receivable and payable, assisting with payroll processing, and maintaining accounting procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts receivable and payable while maintaining positive cash flow.
• Handle banking and reconciliation of all accounts, including petty cash.
• Assist in monthly financial account preparation.
• Undertake ad-hoc tasks, daily bookkeeping functions, admin clerical duties, reporting, and support general business needs.
• Uphold existing financial, administrative, and records management systems.
• Efficiently resolve queries, liaising with stakeholders to address issues or variances.
• Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

About you

• Experience with Moveware (our fully integrated software system) is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
• Understanding of Contra Accounts and International payments.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong analytical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• A team player who continuously seeks improvement and thrives in a busy environment.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar administration role.
